Closet swap: Part #2: Donna Martin.

I was never a Team Kelly or a Team Brenda, I was always a Donna enthusiast. Tori Spelling's personification of Donna Martin, the best friend-type character from Beverly Hills 90210, became an instant favorite for me. Enough with Brenda/Dylan/Kelly triangle, or Brendon/Kelly/Dylan effort at a second love triangle, Donna was the coolest thing at West Bev!

Remember French Model-Donna from the Paris episodes of season three? I do. She had a lot of other amazing looks but this dress is my personal favorite.

Remember that party at Donna's place on season one? All fashion forward with her see-through blouse and feathers in her hair.

Remember DJ-Donna? Edgier but, just as awesome.

Remember when Donna had the best Halloween costumes ever?! Enough said.

Remember she got drunk at prom while looking fabulous? She was the only one who wore a real prom dress. Kelly, Brenda and Andrea's dresses were boring! And also, remember when Andrea totally looked thirty-five in her prom dress (or anytime for that matter...)

Remember all of Donna's baby doll dresses? I do. Had a couple myself. Paired with dock martens, it was a true 90's heaven!

Remember the Barbie shirt? Don't lie! You totally had one too!

Remember him? Me neither. So irrelevant to Donna's love life. I do remember the famous butterfly clips though.

Remember that wedding dress? So beautiful and classic. Pure Donna.

Remember? Donna Martin Graduates!

Unpopular opinion: Part #1: Frances Bean Cobain.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, liking Frances Bean Cobain isn't a very popular opinion right now (especially with that Kardashian-Jenner/ Cobain tweeter war.) Well, I don't care. I really don't care. Miss Cobain's got some sass, which is missing right now. She is shaking things up and speaking her mind (no need to insult anybody though, Frances!) Anyhow, I like Frances Bean's style. She kinda reminds me of a young Madonna with the big eyebrows and the rebel attitude. I was a fan of Nirvana and now, I'm a fan of little miss Cobain! Go on, Frances. We'll be watching you (in a none-creepy way.)

Will you look at that French tatoo! Amazing!

So dark and edgy!

So...scary? Nope. Frances wants world peace after all. Nothing scary about that!

Closet swap: Part #1: Shoshanna Shapiro.

Currently, my favorite tv show is Girls on HBO. While I adore Hannah, Marnie and even Jessa, I have a major Girl-Crush on Shoshanna! She is awkwardly awesome and adorably naive. In many ways, even if we are very different, Shoshanna reminds me of myself. She can be totally insecure, but she is never affraid to be herself. She has morals and values (which lack in all of the other Girls -that's just my opinion though.)

When it comes to fashion, Shoshanna has her own style. She might be a bit over the top sometimes (and that's most times!) but she can pull it off like no one.

The butterfly dress is one of my favorite. Paired with the bow belt, the look is complete!

Shosh at her very best! That hair thing is fabulous. The mix of colors of the outfit is perfect.

I love Shoshanna's little hat. Reminds me so much of Sarah Jessica Parker when she was posing as the more than fabulous Carrie Bradshaw.

More butterflies! Aaaaaw, Shosh! So divinely awkward on the screenshot.

Love the top. Love the belt. Love the headband. And, love Ray!

Nobody can pull that kind of braid better than Shoshanna! You go, girl!

While Jessa stole the show with her bohemian chic wedding dress, Shoshanna shines with a braided updo and bright lipstick.

God! Even her snuggy is amazing!

Let me leave you with a little Shoshanna-esque moment!

A history of crushes: Part #1.

I remember him very clearly. He had bright blue eyes. Behind these eyes, you could see, he was a smarty.  He had thick brown hair and funny glasses. He wasn't the funniest or the coolest, but he was a pretty cute six-year-old.

We were in the same finger-painting, kiddies-song-singing, family-trees-pets-drawing kindergarten class. Our teacher was the sweetest teacher I've had to date. She was very nurturing and quite maternal. While I was an easy to handle kid, I was send to the naughty corner only once (because I painted on another kid with my fingers instead of on the paper. Can't really remember why. It was probably just a slurp of the moment thing.) Anyway, kindergarten year was a pretty solid year altogether. It was also the year I had my first crush. His name was...Crush #1!

Crush #1 and I didn't last very long. I liked him all kindergarten year. We painted side by side for a whole year and that was about all the exchange we ever had (unfortunately, he wasn't the first boy who kissed me. Downer.) However, I forgot about him pretty quickly.

While that boy wasn't part of my daily routine anymore, Crush #1 didn't stop his existence even if I wasn't noticing him anymore. As a busy eight-year-old, I failed to noticed that Crush #1's life at our school was only getting harder and harder. Through the next couple of years, Crush #1 was that bullied kid every school's got. Sadly, I didn't noticed it, or heard about it, before hitting the eight grade. The kid was, yes, a little dorky and quirky, but, so was I (and still am, by the way.) The bottom line, Crush #1 was a sweet kid and didn't deserve any of it.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw a glimpse of him while I was out buying some low-cal-no-taste-junk. He was different. Taller. Older. Edgier. Still quirky and still cute.
